Shooting Script third draft

GRAPHIC ANIMATION OF PRODUCTION COMPANY NAME LASTING 3-5 SECONDS

1. INT. PANNING SHOT OF THE SCIENCE LABS.

 
TITLE: 'insert name here' presents *fades*

CUT TO

MID SHOT of DOCTOR 1 preparing a syringe. In the shot there are test tube racks, syringes and other bio-chemistry equipment spread across the desk.

TITLE: a CORTES-MCQUEEN production

CLOSE UP of science desk so the misc-en-scene is bio-chemical equipment such as test tubes and syringes etc.

TITLE: ESCAPED

DIFFERENT ANGLE switches to VOLUNTEER, nervously sitting down with her sleeve rolled up waiting for injection.

TITLE: STARRING - TARINN CALLENDER

REVERSE SHOT. DOCTOR 1 turns towards the patient with syringe in hand.

DOCTOR ROGERS

We’re going to give you the injection now etc



DOCTOR gives the patient an injection.


DOCTOR:
Okay, that’s all now. You’re free to go.


TITLE: HEAVEN YOHANNES

2. LONG SHOT. The VOLUNTEER is at the door putting her coat on. DOCTOR ROGERS is a few metres away from him.
CLOSE-UP on DOCTOR ROGERS.

DOCTOR ROGERS

Remember to come back in two weeks!

VOLUNTEER

Ah, yeah, I will. See you.

VOLUNTEER leaves.
3. MID SHOT of DOCTOR

DOCTOR ROGERS

checks the remaining medicine left and notices that the contents have been mixed up but dismisses it as thinking it was fine in the ctual syringe.

DOCTOR
CLOSE UP on DOCTOR ROGER packing everything away and getting ready to leave

4. LONG SHOT FROM ONE SIDE OF THE ROOM WITH THE DOOR IN THE SHOT. DOCTOR ROGERS LEAVES THROUGH SAID DOOR. CAMERA PANS DOWN TO THE DESK BELOW AND THE PETRI DISH WITH THE MEDICINE USED IN THE PATIENT BUBBLING AND LOOKING VERY STRANGE. 

INJECTION STARTS TO FIZZ.

5. INT. NEXT DAY, SCIENCE LAB


LONG SHOT OF LAB. WINDOW TO THE LEFT OF THE ROOM PROVIDES LIGHT TO SUGGEST IT IS MORNING.


TITLE: Make Up Artist - Briony Dillon


MID-SHOT OF DOCTOR ROGERS putting on her lab coat and gloves etc.

TITLE: Costumes - Yulieth Ortiz


DOCTOR SEES THE CHANGES THAT HAVE TAKEN PLACE IN THE TEST TUBE OVER NIGHT. SHE LOOKS VERY SHOCKED.

CLOSE UP on DOCTOR ROGERS face. She looks very shocked and panics


DOCTOR ROGERS rushes over to the desk

MID SHOT of her not getting the call through

MIDCTWO SHOT OF DOCTOR ROGERS LOOKING AT THE PHONE IN DISPAIR.

TITLE: ESCAPED (FILM TITLE)

6. EXT. WOOD GREEN STATION, HIGH ROAD BUS STOP.

VOLUNTEER is standing at the bus stop and starts scratching at her hand she looks at her hand and there is a faint red mark on it. She disregards the mark and gets on the bus.

7. EXT. TURNPIKE LANE BUS STATION.

VOLUNTEER gets off the bus and looks very uncomfortable, he is vigorously scratching at her hand. She is walking home hastily.

8. PANNING SHOT OF VOLUNTEER LIMPING DOWN THE STREET.

9. EXT. OUTSIDE 41 Milton Road, Tottenham, London, N15 3DS
VOLUNTEER shows signs of illness, she is bending over as if she has stomach ache.


CAMERA Close-ups on PASSER-BY

Are you okay? Do you need hand?


VOLUNTEER

No, I’m fine. Go away.

VOLUNTEER CONTINUES TO WALK TOWARDS HER HOUSE.


10. INT. PANNING LONG SHOT of interior of 41 Milton Road, Tottenham, London, N15 3DS

TITLE: PRODUCED BY - ARTHUR JOHN

11. MID SHOT of VOLUNTEER coming through the door.

POV shot of her looking down at her hand and seeing it all red and bumpy and weird looking.

TITLE - Written by Rahab McQueen and Sharon Ortiz-Cortes

12. INT. BEDROOM OF 41 MILTON ROAD.

VOLUNTEER looks in mirror and sees her face all rashed. She then doubles over on the ground and starts coughing up blood.

13. ZOOM of VOLUNTEER on the floor for approx. 5 (in this time the TITLE: DIRECTED BY JAMES HARGREAVES comes up) seconds then suddenly CLOSE-UP SHOT of her eyes opening and they are red (contacts).
